I'm sure that some may be wondering how Dakota is adjusting to the newest member of the family. He actually has taken on more of a "guard dog" role. Any delivery person that comes to the door better watch out. He'll bark his head off and then lick them to death.
He took to Ava from the moment we brought her home - every chance he can he LOVES to give her kisses. He knows he's not allowed to, but he sneaks them in every now and then. It was tough for him for awhile because we moved his kennel to the laundry room, but he has adjusted by making the bathtub his new domain. Yes- that is where he chooses to sleep now. So, if you are ever over at our house and decide to use the bathroom, don't be alarmed by the 100 pound furry beast snoring away in the tub.
